World Menopause Day Inspiring Stories with Imogen Crump
Imogen Crump is a journalist who has been working across radio, television, online, and print media for more than 20 years, including at the BBC and ABC. You may remember her as the journalist who asked for a break during a live interview on ABC News Breakfast television when she was hit by severe perimenopausal hot flushes.
In doing so she became an accidental menopause champion, helping to open up the conversation about the very real impacts of menopause symptoms in the workplace.
Imogen gained global praise for her authenticity in what could have been a tricky on air situation. And in doing so, normalised having a (very!) public conversation about a topic that has been filled with shame and stigma for so long.
Imogen has joined Menopause Friendly Australia as a Menopause Advocate and we’re delighted that you can now book Imogen to speak at your next corporate event, reach out to us at hello@menopausefriendly.com.au for more information.
